I am a finalist for the 2010 Julia Margaret Cameron Awards!

I am so thrilled to announce that I am a finalist for the 2010 Julia Margaret Cameron Awards with one of my pieces "The Silence".  Jurors include:  Mary Ellen Mark, Alessandro Sanguinetti, Olivia Arthur, Rosanna Checchi, Carol McCusker, Vanessa Winship and Kim Weston.

The winners and honorable mentions will be announced at the end of June!

Just thrilling news that made my already most beautiful mother's day ever, the VERY BEST.

Blue Expanse takes me to places that are endless, it is about flight, strength and contemplation.  It is about independence and possibility.

Untitled No:  128 is totally inspiring for me.  It is a piece that symbolises Inspiration.

Summer Dusk II

Summer Dusk II is a sweet image that evokes memories of my interpretations of the summer beaches, young families in the shallow tidal inlets and innocence.

Contained. 2010

Contained is such a soothing piece for me. It is the definition of containment, control.  I do not mean control in a contolling way but in a strong, self supporting and trusting way.  The colors are balanced and the fan to the right is a symbolic of a huge change in someone's life, a "death" but after this happening a renewal and a reemergence takes place that brings forth hope and change for the better.
